Dr. Shan Nagendra is a Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Neurology. He has been practicing Pain Management for over 20 years. In addition to a formalized medical education, Dr. Shan Nagendra has acquired first-hand apprenticeship training from some of the foremost specialists in the field. This combination of experience offers a wider and more comprehensive knowledge base for pain diagnosis and treatment that is uniquely effective in consistently producing positive outcomes for patients at Penn Medical Services.

Anesthesia or sedation is provided to those patients who are anxious and apprehensive of the procedures. Localized anesthesia is done for patients who are more comfortable with non-sedation. At Penn Medical Services Dr. Shan Nagendra MD and his staff help patients alleviate any fear of needles in a unique and soothing way.

Patients with or without insurance are accepted at Penn Medical Services, New York and New Jersey. Patient care and financial arrangements for continued treatment are tailored and made conducive to each patient’s individualized needs.
